I would call to see what the offset numbers are on those first set of wheels, because while its a great price it is not worth the order only to find out they are off by a few mm....

I've seen those on a 944 before, I'm pretty sure they were the exact same wheel.

it looks like the wheel is sliced in half.... or its sitting with half of it in some foam or something weird...

The pic shows an 89 or earlier, which means they'd fit the early offset cars. Personally, I'd try to find a later model turbo. On your old car, you may have fitment issues of the rear fender hitting the wheel behind the door. You'd have to look at the dent to make sure.

I know the ZR-6 wheel that you are referring to. They look good on 944 and ROH wheels (which I run) are made to fit early offset 951's (late offset too I'm sure). I run the ROH ZS (they are on that website as well) in the same dimensions 7.5x17 and 8.5x17. Paid less than $800 CDN in a close out sale. They're great, guys in my PCA chapter want to buy them off me when I upgrade. Consider this, one single BBS LM wheel for my 86 951 is $1,000 CDN. ROH is a good Australian manufacturer, they have been used by Formula 1 Teams, and have won 2 or 3 Formula 1 world championships.

I love how the ROH ZS wheels look - they aren't as 2-dimensional looking as the ZR-6

okay, I don't know much about wheels....so, do I have to buy the lug hardware with it as well? What does that even mean??? And speaking of that....where are the lug nut holes? So confused...lol...but, they should fit an 86 951...correct?

my brother had ROHs from that dealer on his 84NA. bolt right on. lug holes are the holes in the wheel where the lug bolts go through which are held by the lug nutz.

you need now lug nutz, at least my brother did. you will also probably need the socket to take them off. MattH, where are you?

did you settle with your insurance co? are you going with the deal we IM'd? if so what are you keeping from the old car?

well, just got off the phone with the guy, the only thing left is high offset, and he doesn't know if they will still have those left next week...

he did seem like a nice guy though....was very knowledagble about porsches in general and has even owned quite a few from the 944 series and now owns a 968!
