Default All Insured Drivers - New Auto Insurance Product - Your Help Needed, Poll 3 of 3

PLEASE ANSWER ALL QUESTIONS THAT APPLY HONESTLY AND ACCURATELY. THIS POLL, and others, WILL BECOME PART OF MY BUSINESS MODEL.

PLEASE READ THE FOLLOWING POST BEFORE SUBMITTING YOUR VOTE.

POLL 3 of 3

I am trying to gain a knowledge base and some statistics for an innovative new automotive insurance policy, and I of course get the stats from home first. Thanks to John and Pete for allowing this.

Some say insurance is a waste. I tend to agree, until your car blows up in flames along with $20,00 in new parts. Then, when you think you are fully insured, you get $8,000 for it. The company and policy I am developing will fill the badly needed holes in automotive insurance. All Licenses for the State of Georigia have been submitted and are pending. Business name and domain are secured, as are some investments. I will bring you this product some time in the near future.

So, in closing, please answer your questions as accurate as possible. If you would like to add more comments, please post a reply to this poll. *note - Replys in public may be used as public record. Thanks for you time, and god speed and good health to you.

You have us intrigued, I wont ask questions, as I'm sure you will inform us as time comes... but I am in search of an insurance type that will cover my baby for what its worth, and the modifications as well, but it is not a daily driver. If you would like to talk to me about certain needs I feel pertain to all owners of this genre of automobile, feel free to PM or Email me, if you want to talk in person, I will give you a phone number. I think i have a few suggestions you may, or may not have thought of allready.

I will be talking with everyone in the group once my business model clears and the investments locked..... hopefully in a few months.

What I really need is for all of you to tell friends to take the poll. The more samples, the better grip I can get on the products I want to offer.

Thanks again!!!

Another option: liability + comprehensive only.

something that would make alot of drivers buy in, particulary *Young *Male *Sports Car drivers: Have an optional rate plan that is merit based. Have some sort of system where if a "high risk" driver prooves their abilities, they get a lower rate. Many people, myself included, are disenchanted with the agism and sexism of current insurance carriers.

Perry951, I'm interested in what you have cookin'. My car is only used in back roads away from other drivers on weekends 2 or 3 times a week. There's no one to hit there and if I wreck it, I pay for the repair myself and fix it myself - why should I pay the $120/month for minimal insurance? All that does is keep cops off my back if it was wrecked!

I feel the driver should be insured not the car.

I have several cars and have to carry insurance for each....obviously I can drive only one at a time.

All I know is that the collector policies are too strict with their limitations and stadard policys pay you crap.

What we need is a policy that allows you to use your car as you please and still provide proper coverage for it should somthing happen.

It is impossible for anyone to take an old 944 or any car for that matter that is nice shape and keep it insured properly.

I have two classic cars on antiqe ins. plus the 944 and a daily driver on regualr insurence. Because there are three drivers in the house the 944 cannot be put on a classic policy. My argument is that regardless of cost, there should be an insurance company willing to insure a classic car when it is used occasionally as transportation.

Hell, my collector insurance told me that if I decide to take one of the classic cars to work one nice day and it gets stolen, I am not covered.

What if one of your friends is driving your other car? If he doesn't have the same type of "personal" insurance policy and he is involved in an accident you won't be covered.
