You may have trouble getting your asking price, but good luck selling nonetheless!

Johno,

Just a quick tip, you might want to take a picture with the dash mat and seat covers off, so potential buyers can see what they would be getting.

Additionaly it might help to post your location.

Best of luck

Martin

No offense, but your asking price is way too high.

That interior looks like parts were taken from a 924 (maybe I'm wrong, but I've never seen a 944 with door panels with "P O R S C H E" embossed; only 924s), so I wonder how much of the car has been taken apart and put back together, and why...

Those phone dials are late-offset, don't belong on that car. Useless to the buyer without spacers.

The battery cover is missing + the coolant reservoir looks empty + the struts look original + the brake fluid looks dirty = the car looks neglected. 106k . . . . has the clutch been replaced?

I'm not trying to cut you or your car down; just tossing out some things that a prospective buyer might note.. However, don't spend money to make it saleable that you won't recover in the sale! i.e., don't spend money on the car just to make it saleable when you could net the same amount by just lowering the price..

I wish you luck, and that the car goes to a good home, but you might want to knock the price down some.

Regards,

Exterior appears good, but that interior looks like it needs a lot of lovin. If I was interested, I would offer no more than $3500

Good idea! Most kids these days dont take the time to value a car. Sit it outside a local High School with a sign that says... "PORSCHE 944, yours for only $4500!!!!!" They will flock like a bunch of Junior High ****** to a free aids test.

I have an 83 with original door panels printed large letters "Porsche" with NO speaker openings. The car was made in 6/82 so its one of the early ones with manual sunroof and rack. Sadly to say, its the only 944 I have with working a/c.
