Default Tough choice....

Okay, I know this is a stupid thing, and I need to be slapped, but I just found one of my childhood dream cars for sale in my price range if I didn't get another 944 turbo....what do you guys think?

(don't worry, I will probably end up getting another 951...just...the passing thought of it...)

Hell No!!!!! Go completely against your own personal convictions and do what the Rennlisters say to do!!!!!!! Don't live for yourself!!!!!

Ok, enough with the sarcasm...
I always thought Opel GT's were cool. Before their time. I always wanted one, too. My cousin just got one for dirt cheap. I say, go for it!!!!!!!!!

Nah, I'll probably still go for the 944 Turbo I am looking at. But if I come into about 6 grand in the next few weeks...schwing!

I think that looks pretty cool. It kind of reminds me of an older style corvette.

I'm pretty sure I've seen that car on the parked on the street before. The only thing I have to say is: if you thought the 951 was a pain to maintain....

Pretty sweet car though, and man it's in fantastic condition.

I wonder if you have to pull the radiator out to change the battery on that thing.

And in fact IIRC they were refered to as the baby vette back in the day. Opel is a division of GM by the way.

My older brothers' buddy use to have one when they were in HS. I loved those cars. I agree with Wade, go for it!

Don't bother. They're crap. If you thought the 944's suspension was antiquated, try the leaf spring suspension of the Opel. Not to mention the poor build quality and unreliability.

Now get your butt back into a Porsche and quit having these bad thoughts!
