Default Fuel effects on weight distribution

Anyone know if these cars are optimized for 50/50 weight distribution with a full, empty or half-filled gas tank? I think the capacity is something like 15 gallons +/-, so at 6 pounds per gallon that's 90 pounds - enough to be a factor. Admittedly not a HUGE factor, but a factor. What about driver weight? Is this factored in?

IIRC when they did my alignment they had to put fuel in the car. I guess because of the weight distribution.

But not ballast for the driver? Hmmm. Good to know anyway. . .

My fuel tank is 21 gallons according to the owner's manual and I've put up to 19 gallons into it.
And I think fuel weighs closer to 6.5lbs.

So full= 136.5lbs

half=68.5

1/4 = 34.5

Fuel load is a huge factor on weight distribution - I found that out when I was putting a car on the lift 2 weekends ago. Made me laugh out loud at all the morons saying that a V8 conversion destroys the car's handling, the difference in a fuel load certainly is a larger weight difference.

I remember hearing a story back when Fast Freddy Baker was racing 951s. The crew said the car was better balanced with a full tank of gas, so they would qualify that way and have an advantage when the race started, as their car was right on for best balance. Most cars get faster as the fuel load lightens, not neccesarily so for our 951s!

Well my 944-spec runs better when light on fuel. Of course I have tuned the suspension for lower fuel levels. Running full on full I can feel the difference.

im on hypothesizing here, and im sure you guys considered it too, but sloshing would throw it around too, so id think 3/4-1/2 tank would throw car off more than full tank also. does anyone sell fuel cells and that jazz for 944's?
