how much would YOU pay for these rims??
picked up some wheels at the show today just because i thought if i couldnt use them, then maybe someone else could! They are off a 930 lookalike 912, and they are 15" two piece, im guessing BBS rims w/ porsche crest center caps. They are in pretty decent shape, not noticable curb dings, slight rash on one or two of them but easily sanded out. The fronts are 205/50/15 and the rears are 285/40/15's. The tires are good but somewhat dryrotted looking. OFfset on rears say 10-0. We tryed them on an early 944 and they fit perfect in the front, and stick out about 2" past the wheelwell in the rear, perfect for a flared car, widebody car, or yeah i guess a 930 or something. I got what i like to consider a deal on them, and if i cant sell em, i guess i could squeeze them on something, but i would prefer to see them on your car! I have one guy that wants them but nothing is definite so who else would be interested? OFFERS?

That 2-piece rim is a new one on me, pretty unique looking and I've always favored a wider polished lip if they will fit. To have wider fenders huh? They have to be off a wide body 930, that's pretty obvious, but I like really like the look.

It can be incredibly hard to find the right tires for a wheel that wide. Ernies Alloys still carries them, though not in the size you have. Those appear to be Yokos or Michelins from the sidewall but it is hard to tell. Either way, they look like they are due for replacement.
Try the 911 lists, lots of those guys could use them, your list of 944 candidates will be very small. I would not expect to get more than the 5-8 hundred dollar range. They do look real clean though.

Those were nice wheels. I had fun watching you try to fit them on Eric's 944. They would be perfect for a 911 RSR sortof project car. Jeff better have some wide-azz fenders on that rear of his car to make them fit!

bbs wheels were in the late 70's/80's, they had to be for a 924/944 or a late 70s 911. i was looking for a set like those for a while with out much luck (was having a hard time finding 15's). i give up figuring they werent period correct and that i should go with somthing else instead.
im either going to go for minilites or american mags. (like jeremy's budy cornpanzer has!), as both were used in 911 racing cars before fuchs came out, and when they did come out, alot of the racers used them b/c they couldnt get fuchs that were as big as american mags or miniites. needelss to say both are rare, trick and uber cool. id still like a set of gas burners.. but those are early 70's and are a bit later than my car... if i found a set for cheep i wouldnt pass em up..
