I wonder domestic materials would give a good color/texture match? Maybe they could send you a material sample before you buy it....??

World Upholstery will send you samples of anything they sell. Get samples from them of domestic and German and let us know the difference. I may be in the market for carpet myself in a few months.

I need a rear hatch light grey-beige carpet for my 86 NA too.

World Upholstery sent me carpet samples and nothing seems to match the light grey-beige in these cars. Silver #852 is too grey and Linen #2010 is too white. Anyone have a carpet code that worked - or a perfect rear hatch carpet for sale? Thanks. Howard
