Default design 90s for sale

well my buddy dropped off a TOTALED late 80's 944 over the weekend, the car is basically TRASH except for the rear hatch, maybe the bumper and some odds and ends inside' (rear seat, gauges etc)
the wheels however may interest those here
Please Note: I would prefer an east coast buyer so I could possibly deliver these for free or a small fee, I am going to be in the DC area this weekend and the last weekend of Oct
Design 90
front: 16x7-J ET 49 w/ Goodyear 225 50 ZR 16 tires (some tread left)
1 of them is damaged as shown (I don't know if this is fixable or not)
rear: 16x8-J ET 49 w/ Dunlop SP Sport 5000 245 45 ZR 16 tires (almost NEW)
as close to concours as you can get
I'd like $400 for the set but will split them $250 for rear/$150 for front
PM me for more pics or info
Thanks

A quick question relating to the D90 wheels. Did these wheels only come on the 944S, S2 and Turbo S model cars? Would it be out of place seeing these on a '87 n/a 944? I am looking at a picture of a possible car worth looking into, the cars listed as just a 944, im thinking maybe the seller made and error and the car is really the S model maybe. Will be calling to try and get more information about it later tonight...

They came standard on the '89 and later 944S2. They were not available at the time of the '87 & '88 944S. Most 944S' came with phonedials and I believe the 928 style 'flat dish' wheels were an option. The D90's were original equiptment on the 964. The 88 951S and 89 951 had Clubsport wheels which looked similar but were forged not cast like the D90's.

I've got a pair of these in my garage, I think they are from a 89' TS. Does anyone know the part# to verify that they are the forged one's?
Thank you,
Jason

Pete,
Sweet, they are the forged one's, unforuntatly they are also the front 7x16 et65.
They don't fit my 86' so they are for sale as well.
