Really?? Need i remind you who designed the enzo and carrera gt?

Please do. I thought that the retiring Harm Lagaay was the Carrera GT's designer... his crown jewel in a long list of wonderful designs, including my personal favorite 911 design, the 993.

As to the Enzo, I infer that it was a Japanese designer. Right?

Just to set the record straight, I have no disdain for the Japanese or their cars. They make vehicles of outstanding quality, and the reliability of a Japanese automobile is generally second to none. In fact, I have owned two Acuras. (That was before I was afflicted by my Porsche passion. ) However, by and large, it seems that their designs usually are derivative of German designs.

Their skill is great, but i have to say that is the most odd looking, mis-shapped, in-accurate F50 on the streets

BTW, the way i see it, Japanese look at American and European car makers, then produces a 'cheaper, advanced' version of it, which lasts half the life time of the American/European models.

I second that. What a horrible thing to do to a Honda NSX. A friend of mine owns a black NSX. It has an amazingly rigid chassis. His car had a misalignment which they tried to rectify on a chassis straightening rig. They could not get it to budge at all. In the end they had to cut and add new section to it, was frightfully expensive. Anyway, I think the NSX is a really cool car.

Reminds me a little bit of that really strange looking 944 that some guy in europe made, he made up a whole body kit for it. It looked friggin awesome except for the front valence
Much like the hideous beast you speak of this too is a joke. It looks like ****. Why go to that much trouble and not make it more exact. It is clear they have the skill to do so. FWIW, the 944 you speak of is one of the most incredibly awful looking "things" I have ever seen.

All of that said, the work is absolutely amazing. Not as an F-50 kit but as a body kit in general. If more people went to that kind of trouble maybe body kits wouldnt have such a bad rep.

Looks like a Fiero kit car. Way to ruin an NSX.

That may be your opinion, but I still rather like it.

Sorry have to disagree here, my honda daily's have all gone over 200K while i owned them and i have verified a couple ofthem still going over 300K with just general maint. Most american cars i have had experiences with have had either engine/tranny replacements or both by 150K, just my .02

So let me get this straight..... These guys in Japan did a very amazing job as far as skill and long hours, maybe not that great in taste though, but these guys can pull this type of **** off, and between all of us Rennlisters with N/A's we cant come up with a chin spoiler..? Hmmm all those pics did is motivate me...Looks like I will be going to town shaping some foam tonight....
