Default Front End Wandering

1987 951

The front end tends to wander on uneven pavement, in other words it pulls to the side when the highway is slotted (i.e. raised in the middle) what could be the problem? Ball joints? how would I diagnose?

Thanks

Could be control arms. Is it Rennbay who makes a ball joint replacment kit? People seem to be pretty happy with it. See Clarks Garage for the testing drill.

More than likely it's just the alignment. I think the car is already predisposed to "track" (wander or pull towards the disturbed side) due to mild bump-steer. That means when something pushes the suspension up, like a bump, the wheel turns alittle to the outside. A little toe-out will increase this tendancy.
