Default GOT IT DONE!!!

It is time for a rennlist memebership, I told myself that if I ever got this done I would shell out the money, because i have been freeloading too long. Thank you everyone for all of the help! It finally turned out to be the DME was bad which was causing the no start after the engine swap. Now fine tuning, and signing up!

Oh and where is the best place to buy a new DME?
the engine is from an early '85 the car is an '84, not sure if this creates problems...
or should i go used?

If you got the dme fixed, why do you still need one? You borrowed one?

I'd be more than happy to resolder the one you have and do trace continuity- check for bad components etc..I've done several- and I'm close to you.

well, car runs on 3 cylinders with this dme, and doesn't want to start up very easily, its known to be bad, but at least it works...

That's weird that it only runs on three cylinders. That DME is what was causing my hard starting problems about a year ago. The only problem I had with it is that it took 15 tries to get my car started.

Congrats, on a job well done! I have been following your plight for some time now, and I have to commend you on your tenacity, and determination. I'm pleased that your objectives are now met. For that- How about a complimentary 1-year Rennlist charter membership, John?
