Default 968 - oil in coolant

I am looking at buying a 93 968S, 48K miles on the clock, UK spec - had the car from the dealer for the weekend to look over.

The car needs a few cosmetic touches but seems to be fine mechanically with ONE exception. I noticed the coolant is oily. The coolant is a light orange color but appears to have a white oily froth floating in the expansion tank.

The engine oil appears to be normal - but I cannot be sure.

How serious is this and what is likely to have been damaged?

Regards

Peter

Sounds like the oil cooler seals got busted........

DON'T DRIVE IT!!!!!!!!

Even after replacing those seals, you need to flush the engine and cooling system.
