I did own an 85.5 for a short time that had the full leather front and rear seats... nice! And sport seats at that!

Get a can of denatured alcohol and see what you can get off with that first before you move to more extreme chemicals. I used it will great success removing some overspray on the manual window interior panels I installed this summer.

you might also want to try Naptha (spelling?). Its a VERY strong plastic cleaner that might work with vinyl (NOT leather!). Whatever you end up trying, DEFINITELY make sure you test it on an inconspicuous place to make sure its not going to ruin it even more. (Im sure you knew that)

Wow so many replies.
It's really not as bad as I described, don't assume that I soaked the parts in paint. I held the can about a foot away from the panels, and put 1 maybe 2 really light coats. What bugs me are the light scratches on the center console, they’re some real eyesoars..
So I suppose I’ll have to use some non-Acetone nail polish remover and patiently scrub down each of the panels with a sponge, and recoat them with the Vinyl stain/dye.
Thanks for the responses, any more suggestions will be appreciated.
Sorry Adrial, no pictures.

Don't use nail polish remover of any type. The manufacturers put conditioners and oils in the mix to keep the remover from stripping out your nails too badly. It will leave an oily residue behind that may keep the dye from sticking in the future.

full leather does exist, my car was optioned with it. Almost every panel is wrapped in leather; a glaring exception is the actual part of the dash that always cracks. That is vinyl (couldnt mold the leather?) Also a few small areas of the roof liner are vinyl. (The halo that goes around the sunroof)
Honestly, the leather is a bit of a pain. It has cracks all over in the sun exposed areas, and bubbles in some places. Some of the seams have pulled up towhere it is near impossible to keep the unfinished edge hidden. If I were to go all out I would replace everything that I dont touch daily with a nice vinyl alternative.

The problem with buying another interior is that the '89's have a special speaker option in the front doors which won't be found on any of the earlier cars (sans '88 tS).
Basically, buddy, you have either bought yourself a new interior ($$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$), or you just made the first modification on a future racecar (interior delete).
