I am thinking of doing this. I think it looks cleaner. How did you go about taking it off? Take a hair dryer to it? Will it peal off? Thanks

I left ot off when the car was repainted. It looks much better without it IMO.
A hair dryer will work. You may have to clean off the old glue residue with some lighter fluid.

Mine was very, very difficult to remove. Heat gun will work best and some sort of a rounded edge scraper. (mine was cracked badly.)

If you take it off people will confuse you for a Mazda driver.

Heat gun on the low setting worked great for me. I prefer it without, altho if John D would come up with some rennlist decals that were of a similar design, I'd have no problems putting it on my car in place of the Porsche one.

use "sticker remover" to remove the residue left behind. Get it at autozone - it works awesome - just dissolves the gunk.
