Hi guys, I'm new to rennlist and new to the porsche ownership world too. I have always loved porsches and will forever do so. I'm seventeen and just recently aquired a 1980 924, it's not a turbo but it's mine and I love to drive it. Though, it's not in horrible shape its not the best and the odometer isn't working. Might be close to 200k Kms on it. It hasn't been driven alot at all in the last 5-6 years and before then it was used only for weekends in the summer. Before that the car was in storage for 8 years or so. I need lots of help as I put more and more money into this car and one of the first problems which needs to be addressed is the heating/air. I don't get anything coming out the vents on any of the settings! How can I diagnose the problems and which actions should I take first? Also, anything else that I need to make sure is working, especially for the forthcoming canadian winter.

Welcome! First things first...Do you have any maintenance history info available to you on the vehicle? if not you want to do the belts,etc. FIRST...Do a search!
