Hey, it nice to see that pepole still care about other people, its a shame that the problem happened, but like others mentioned a used car is a used car, that isnot really the point you feel badly because of a situation, that was brought up to you before, you decided not to repair it at that time, for what ever reason/ now its broke ,as a good person all you can do is offer your assistance to help the guy back on the road. Recommend a parts source, and a honest porsche tech , If you have the funds help him out with the parts purchase??????? In the end and at the end of the Day the person who will benifit from you thoughts and actions is .You David

Yeah, you're right. I'm looking for a big hit on the go fast crack pipe. Actually, as I start looking around, my purchase philosophy is tending towards getting something really nice, like a 951S or 968 with M030, because I don't have the time or the desire to be constantly buy parts to upgrade, whereas before it was 'buy cheap, deal with it.' The NA was a great car to learn on but now I figure might as well go with the good stuff right away. I gotta get a loan anyhow, what's a few more thousand $$$$?

Hasta,
B

you don't have any real obligation to tell him anything. On the oter hand, who wouldn't help out a fellow p-car enthusiast? i mean if you were gettig screwed and somebody could tell a place to get parts for cheaper, wouldn't you appreciate that?
