doesnt look like a 996. looks like a boxster, or older 911 clad in 996 clothing... im almost sure the 996 never came with a 3.4...

Eyal, I disagree.

Def. not a Boxster. It also has a 996 interior so if someone did a conversion then they went "all out." At first I thought that it must be wrecked but then I realized that you see a picture of every side of the car. Ofcourse the pictures may be old. Something's fishy.

the 996 came with a 3.4 until 2000.... Funny how people say what they dont know.

And due to engine configuration and interior...it cant be a 911 doner or a boxster remake.

Typical hijacked ebay account scam. You wire the money to a fake escrow company, and that pic in the ad is as close as you ever get to the car.

Right! The train stuff in the feedback suggests it's an older guy's account that this faker has stolen. I emailed them asking why they would be selling a $50k car for $12k. Bet I get no response!

Is it just my eyes, or are some of the pictures near the bottom of a WHITE car, not sky blue or whatever that color is..

I didn't see any items that they had sold, only buyer feedback.

And the first thing I ever sold on ebay was a $12K 911. Suurrrre.
