I was watching the radar and it looks like its going to get bad here again soon. I will snap another shot here in a little bit if the power stays on.
I got a call from my parents and a big tree fell down in the front yard. Didn't hit anything though.

Still not too bad yet. There is hardly any rain just a bunch of wind.

hurricane center checking in....squalls coming thru. still awaiting marching orders from ABC/Good Morning America....but thats because this thing is taking so long to get on shore...the turbo is in a parking ramp in miami beach -next to a 964 and a vette....should be fine.

Latest update shows it slowed down to *3* mph. The coast is gonna take a very long beating with it going so slow. There's another band supposed to come through Orlando here pretty soon. The worst is still many hours away though.

looks like its going to be here for a while. I may jump in the car and head down to the keys in the morning, no use hanging around here. They say the lower keys are beautiful. Guess I will see what happens tonight with this thing, if it would be even safe to make the drive.

They have had over 3 inches of rain so far up were my parents live (North Palm Beach). I think the winds are kind of honkin' too. I hope that thing gets moving soon so y'all can getthis over with.

A tree just fell on some cars across the street from me. I checked it out and the white cars roof is crunched in.

hahaha, no but I have a Rennbay chainsaw here to cut him out after the wind dies down a bit. I love my little 12" Echo. I have had larger (heavier) ones but you can't beat being able to reach out with one arm and cut off a branch when you need to.

This thing needs to make up its mind already...now it's supposed to make landfall even further south (better for my house, bad for the 'listers down there)

With how slow it's moving it's gonna take till like Monday for it to clear the state

I've been out working on the 944 all day. My neighbors think I'm crazy?

Is it wierd to be working on your car with a hurricane coming?

The weather has been real weird, it will be sunny, the next minute it will be windy and rain for 10-15 minutes, then sun will come back out.

Good luck guys.

This thing is going to get old pretty soon. All is well here in Dania Beach, (Ft. Lauderdale) but blustery and rainy. Going to get cabin fever if this goes on for too long. Power has been fine all day, just a couple little glitches but never went out. Ah well juist wait this thing out and try to keep busy here in the house.\

Yeah this thing isn't supposed to clear for like a whole day...try being stuck in one hotel room for the whole thing! I guess I can walk around the hallways or something, but it sucks...
