Default Turtle Wax Black Chrome Discontinued ???

Any one know if this product is no longer available. I can't find it at Checker, Pep Boys, Auto Zone, Target or anywhere else. It also is not listed on the Turtle Wax website. This is the best product I have found for the spoiler, bumper guards and the black trim between the windows. If I can't get Black Chrome any more, any suggestions what you think works the best to retain the black color without attracting a lot of dust and showing fingerprints? Thanks.

Without a doubt, Meguiar's Endurance Tire Gel.

Use sparingly, wiping off excess and it's probably one of the longest lasting rubber treatments available.

Luis -
So you use the Meguires product on all the black trim, as well as the tires? Does it spin off the tires? Do you know if it is readily available at most auto stores that carry Meguires products, or does it have to be specially ordered?

I've had good luck with plain old vinylex. Many here have had great things to say about the mother's product Back to Black. Do a search and take a look at the comments.

I have tried Back to Black and thought it was too runny, I smeared it all over the window, then I clean the window and get the trim spotty, then I clean trim and smear up the window . . . . . .

I like the consistency of Black Chrome and when it is buffed out it gives a nice shine almost like car wax, and lasts quite a long time.

Like I PM'ed you, the Meguiar's product is available in a thicker based cream and a gel.
The former is probably more similar to what you were using, but both work just as well, provided you use some form of applicator and make sure to clean off any excess.

I second (or is it third?) the recommendation for Back to Black. Never had a any trouble with running. Apply it more slowly, don't just slather it on there. I've actually had people ask me if I replaced the spoiler.

Meguiars Endurance is great on the tires and is the longest lasting tire treatment that I have used. I guess I will be trying it on the rest of the rubber now.

I recommend trying Back to Black again also. It lasts a fairly long time even when it rains. Though standing water on the spoiler (say if your car sat overnight in the rain with clogged drain holes) will cause it to wear off quickly. It looks great when applied. I had the same problem with it getting on the rear hatch glass, i was used to just slopping it on like the armor all crap i used before. I just use a paper towel and carefully work it over the spoiler avoiding the glass.

I havent tried the Endurance Tire gel on the spoiler yet, though use it every few washes on my tires. Looks great and lasts more than week. Ive never had any problems with the stuff spinning off the tires and getting on the paint.
