Default anyone got an ac belt tensioner?

Anyone have the tensioner for the ac and alternator belt? mine snapped.

I think you can use the Kriket for that (I forget whether it's the KR-1 or the KR-2 you need for that). IIRC it's the one other than the one that gets used for the timing / balance shaft belts since the scale is different. My kinda fuzzy recollection is that the belt in question goes to 80 pounds (it's pretty tight), but someone else can probably either verify or correct that. . .

P-O-P, I think what he means is the "turnbuckle" tensioner itself.

Hey, just so you know, teh treaded part CAN be welded, i just did it. Search my name, look down the list of my recent threads... I asked a bunch of people.. and a bunch of people replied saying they had one they would send.. Just PM one of them .
