Default URGENT - Need Alternator Belt Adjuster ASAP!

I need that alternator belt adjuster immediately. Anyone nearby have one i could even borrow if not buy? Or if anyone else has one, I would pay for overnight shipping.. of course, i'm sure it cant happen till monday.. But if possible can someone let me know? It's the two threaded rods with the piece they go into.. the one on my daily driver, i just looked down there because my belt squeels for a few seconds at startup,, and it sheared right off one side, and is just staying on because its pressured against the AC!! I have to drive it like this today.. and if possible if anyone in the new england area has one.. I would drive to come get it tomrorow because i have to go drive like 4 hours on monday!!

Please, if anyone has one.. let me know! I'll even rent one!

Similar problem happend to me. What actually happened is when i was tying to adjust the tension to make it tighter. The bolt stud snapped right off as i twisted it (didnt hit it with enough PB Blaster i guess). I was in a bind because i was at my fathers garage, needed to get back on the road to get back to school. It was sunday and the dealer was closed. I ended up taking it over to my fathers friend next door, he welded the bolt back to the rest of the strut. Ive been meaning to buy a replacement, but this has held up fine for the last 3 months. If you have access to doing this, give it a shot.

I have a couple also (the perks of V8 conversions) however I fell it may cost mpore to post than it's worth. If you weld it up it WILL hold, mine is a welded one although I use a tig so there's less thread damage.

I had one welded, it didn't last long. Buy a new one, they aren't much.

Exactly why I keep it as a spare. The stress these parts get in freeze cycles is rough on them- Mine snapped in 10F in December.
