Probably the minivan, the 944 and the truck aren't the greatest with the 3 of us. I think I've got some wheat beer that'll travel well (most bottle conditioneded beer doesn't do well with being bounced around, it gets cloudy and tastes yeasty if the sediment is disturbed but that isn't considered a problem with wheat beer. We'll just call it Hefeweizen ) I've been meaning to pick up a small CO2 tank so I can bring a keg on the road (very little sediment in my kegged beer) but haven't done it yet.
Hopefully Tom will get a couple more replies. It was nice of Tom to plan this, the ball is in our court now to take him up on it.

Will you be around on the 16th? We could always give "beer night" another shot and best I can figure the 16th is the 3rd Thursday of the month. Any interest??

I arrive home that day, but I think I'll be sleeping on the couch if I go out for beers the first night back . . . let's try and visit over the weekend, my new brakes should be on the car.

Thanks again Tom!

We all had a great time followed by an eventful trip home (guy in the car next to us drinking from a 1.75l vodka bottle, my wife and I both thought we were seeing things)

My pleasure. After the schedules forNNJR and Metro come out for next year, maybe we should do it again on a weekend in may when nothing is going on.

Sounds good to me, but May is a tough month for us (family birthdays on the 7th, 14th, 22nd, 23rd, 27th and 28th including mine and Maria's) so it might be hard to get away. OTOH, we could use to get away in May!!

where did you get hung up Andy? Did we forget to check the Yankees home schedule, or was the Triborough screwy from construction? Dave took the Rockaways to the belt to the Goethals I think.

Dave, we can do April or June just as easily. We have all winter to plan.

Glad You liked it Andy, I've got an Altbier in the works now and a Belgian Tripple is next
The Belt was backed up pretty bad but we still made it back in <2 hours

I must have hit Tennis traffic on the Van Wyke, then got stuck after the GWB on 4 West. Dont know how I wound up on 4 instead of hitting the turnpike right away...definately NOT the way to go!
