Ok here's the story. I have been with my girlfriend now for like 3 years. So you know its getting close to buying a wedding ring. Well instead of buying a $6000 dollar ring I buy a 951 instead. She does not seem to happy about the car, but she said if it makes you happy then go for it. By the way I am 25 and she is 21. She was surfing on msn tonight and she came acorss this.

He's Not Marriage Material If He:

Says he has no interest in tying the knot.

Instead of trying to change his mind, believe him and move on.

Buys a Porsche.

Or other high-end items that no man saving up for a ring or a future would purchase. Carol Morgan says, "If he acts financially immature and irresponsible, he's thinking 'me,' not 'we.'"

You don't need a divorce lawyer to get rid of the Porsche.

I have an excuse...
"It's just for R&D ... not because I just like having 3 944s."

Your too damn young anyway. At 21, even for a girl, she is still a kid. Enjoy yourself. If you are not ready to get married, don't. She should be able to see that you want to be with her, you are just not ready to be married. Trust me and my divorce attorney, don't let her pressure (guilt trip) you into marriage. It happened to me the first time around and ended up loosing a house, new GT Mustang, and worst, my little girl. I do see my daughter all of the time, but still. Plus a 951 is one sweet ride !!!!!

I'll calm down now. Just don't make a mistake, make sure you are ready.

i had a buddy who- saved up to buy a ring, then she decided they should break up.
- He spent it on his car, then she came back.
- saved up again for a ring, she broke it off again. Then came back, again.
- when he refused to save up again, she left. She is married now, but not to him.

lucky for him

I used to kid with people that my wife had my boat on her finger, until one time a married coworker said "We have a boat, but I never got a diamond". Oops. It pays to know your audience I guess.

Just like a 944 may not be your last Porsche, that wedding ring probably won't be the last diamond you purchase either. At least that's proven to be my case. It's all good though.

well....as far a marriage goes I am 2 for 2......I have been with my girl now for 11 years and we are not married....when I bought my Porsche I was worried that she might think that I wasn't serious about a life together....so I didn't tell her about the car until I got it and detailed and waxed it and put it in a parking lot next to my place.....I asked her if she wanted to go for a walk and we walked past the car and I stopped and said....."Well, I've been saving money for a while now and I decided to buy this Porsche sitting here"...she laughed and I took the keys out of my pocket not knowing what she would say or do.....well.....she screamed and started jumping up and down.....(WHEW!)

Any woman who can't appreciate a good car like a Porsche and the flavor/fun it adds to life is not worth marrying.

Additionally, any woman who for no good reason wants to deny her man something he enjoys is selfish and not worth marrying.

There *are* good ones out there, fellas!
