Default Searching for an ad in Pano mag, please help.

I was at a Porsche gathering this past weekend, and someone there told me that they saw an ad in a recent Pano mag for a company that rebuilds intermediate steering shaft u-joints. This sounded like a great option to me (rebuilding the manual intermediate shaft I have instead of trying to source a new one).

However, I can't seem to find any ad for any company that does this in the past year of magazines that I looked thru last nite.

Has anyone seen this before? Or was I told a slight "falsehood"?

Thanks!

That's Funny! I did too a few days ago, and Griffiths replied with an email telling me to contact Ian at 944online. The funny thing is I sent Ian two emails over a month ago asking for a price on that part and never got a reply. Around and around in a circle we go!

I'm not sure what part you're looking for but is it possible that there could be a VW or Audi part that matches it? Alot of early 944 front suspension was derived from Golf and Super Beetle stuff.

hmm. That may be a possibility. It's the intermediate shaft, and it has a VW-Audi logo stamped on it. I guess I could measure the length and then check that against the beetle/rabbit parts. It's probably nothing special.

Dan, thanks for getting an answer and a price from 944online. I may just have to order from them, or Paragon.
