I'll be there. Arriving Friday, staying all weekend. I haven't figured out where I'll be staying yet. Pick a time and we'll meet up.

I am planning on going and touring as well. I hope to have the 83' tuned and ready to rock, but if not the 84' shall enjoy the track. I went last year and it was awesome!!

Go touring on FRIDAY, Half the cars on track than Sunday. Get more for your money that way. I hope to be there friday, wedding on Saturday so I'm not sure how long I'll be at the track. All day Sunday I'll be somewhere.

You guys missed one hell of a weekend for the Champ Car race.

I would have liked to have gone yesterday, there's just too many things going on during the summer.

Hacker - any recommendations for accommodations? As far as looking online everything in Sheboygan is full, and almost everything in Fond du Lac or Manitowoc. I'm looking for cheap but not sleazy.

rockfan4 - ouch, this is the 3rd most difficult weekend to get a room (BRIC, AMA, 500). Check Roadamerica.com, there are a couple of B&B's that get overlooked a lot. Otherwise show up in town on Friday/Saturday late morning - early afternoon. If anyone cancels, you might be able to get their room. Nothing in Elkhart will be under $150 a room, or at least not much cheaper.

Don't forget Sheboygan Falls, Plymouth, and Kohler. All withing 10 minutes of the track, the hotels there are not very expensive. I usually stay at the Oshtoff, due to a wedding, I'm staying at a friends cottage.

Good Luck

Bump.

I found a place in Fond du Lac. I'll be there Friday, look for me around the #49 Blue Honda Civic World Challenge car. Anyone going to tour on Friday?
