Next SW Ohio GTG?
Hey guys does anybody know when the next get together will be? Id like to see if we can maybe get the Porsche a new timing belt. Its peace of mind

The first free weekend I have is the 21st of August. I think that's the tentative date of the Taj gathering.
I can make my garage available for a timing belt party on Sunday the 22nd.

August 23rd is my birthday - A timing belt change would be a nice present .
Dan, I think im going to take the 944 to Dave and Busters tonight. I looked at the belt for like the 15th time in 2 days. There isnt any cracks or visible wear, so I think I should just go get the hood with it. I dont think I have to worry. (knock on wood)
Do you think a hood can fit in the back of a 924?

The 21st is the Taj get together for all of you (select group) that I sent emails to last week. That will more than likely be out next get together. There will be no timing belts done there.
The next day is an auto-x, so I am out for doing anything on the 22nd.
I may or may not be there tonite.

how about this coming up sat. or the 14th? i believe that is the sat after next.

This upcoming weekend is out for me. I have a concert to go to on Saturday nite, and Sunday afternoon is tied up with a barb-b-q at a friends house. I am really not going to have any time until after our Taj get-together on the 21st and the auto-X the next day.
Last nite was nice, I liked being able to compare the driving qualities of a 1976 914 to a 968. Two completely different cars, but both fun to drive in their own rights. Thanks for the test drives guys. That 914 brought back memories, and that 968 left me wanting for more power for my car..........

Im free everyday. If we have a GTG the 14th I can get the belt kit in time. If we have it this saturday i dont think it will come. Who's up for the 14th?
