Check out the dashboard on this VW Golf. The engine is familiar too. Very interesting.

I'm not exactly sure what to say about that. I guess in a round about way, we need to take it as a compliment even if it hurts to look at it and makes me shreek like Kramer on Seinfield!

I have to appreciate the engineering job that the guy did. It doesn't look like a backyard hack job. I'll bet it goes pretty well too.

I don't think I could ever pull off such a nice install, dash or enigne in a golf, so I have no place to criticize, but why not just buy a 944? It won't really make much of a "sleeper" I for one know how quick my 944's are...
Now a golf with a 951 might be a little different...

Buy a Porsche.. There has always been a VW convert to Porsche swap going on.
It looks like a nice install- There go all the nice used late dashboards..
That thing should haul a$$..
At least it's not a US made V6 or V8!!

He may not be happy mating a turbo tranny to a n/a engine. IIRC, the turbo tranny has taller gears and will slow the n/a down a bit. However, it'll be damn near bulletproof with a n/a!
