semi-OT: Porsche victim of domestic violence in home
I just recently heard on a radio talk show that a woman in Germany had decided to take a bat or some type of long staff and proceeded to smash her husband's Porsche up to the point of a total loss. The battering was sparked by a heavy heated argument at home but they didn't say it was about.
I've never heard of anything like this before in my life. I guess she decided to hit him where it would hurt the most....
Anyone else hear about this story yet?

I've heard of similar stories. Women torching cars. Things like that. Some a helluva lot more rare and expensive than a Porsche. It's wrong and deserves jail time at the least.

kid you not when I tell you this, but there was someone on the old block that i moved out of who recently incinerated his car near Otay Lake behind me since he was getting a divorce and his wife was repo-ing his Ferrari Mondial because he'd rather see the car die than fall into her hands. What can you do in situations like that? Both sides are freaking nutjobs!

Come on people - it's a car for pity sakes - metal, glass, plastic, vinly, leather, rubber...
If "she" wants to bash something that's half hers (assuming alot since I have not read the story) - then so be it. For all we know the husband was cheating on her, or abusing her, or...
Now, if she had taken the bat and used it on his head while he was sleeping....

A friend of a friend is making a boxter track car from a car that suffered a similar fate. The woman was mad at her husband, so she hit him where he would hurt the most. She torched the car.
Turning into a wicked track car though.

Forgot about that one. That was in the news yesterday.
That lady went out and vandalized the next door neighbor's car instead of her husband's by accident.
