I been wondering how fast a turbo was and since i got my N/A ive been talking alot of "smack".....but 2 day thanks to STEPHEN MAGOWN and his 86' 951 i now know that any stock 951 will kick the best N/A's A$$...i was on the gas hard merging on the highway and he blew by me like i was sitting still.....and at the next light he said"were you even trying so he gave me a 5sec head start and by the time i hit 50 he was passing me.....

 

now think if you were in an auto!...

Think carefully before you respond. Ever been to an autocross? You should go sometime.

NA in is place? Smack talk from an NA!

You know NA's are not that powerfull. In straight line it is obvious a stock turbo will blow the NA's door's off.

Autocross is a completely different matter. In fact the biggest factor in speed at the autocross is not the car, but the driver. Even so my 83 944 NA stock autocross car is faster than my Turbo S at most autocrosses. Even with me driving both cars. Reason is turbo lag and gearing. 95% of autocrosses for the turbo find the car either with too fast for first gear or too slow for second. Never any time to build boost.

 

Julian their is a PCA race down in donaldsonville this November mabye you should come check it out, and see what the N/As do on the track...that is until the Kelly Moss GT3s get on the track . It is at the NO Problem Raceway about 30 min from New Orleans.

no no no , you need alot of patience to drive in Houston traffic my friend, and I aint doin it in a stick.

someday, just someday I will graduate to a turbo, but still daily drive my auto.
