Ramada Limited Hotel
19225 No Highway 10, Surrey, BC
(604) 576-8388
cost for a single room for friday: $115

Clydesdale Inn
17630 56 Ave, Surrey , British Columbia
Canada, V3S 1C5
(604) 576-2826

i don't know about you, but i think clydesdale inn is a better deal so i've made a reservation there.

can any local guys up there confirm that clydesdale is a decent hotel? i'm worried this place might turn out to be a sleazy hooker joint or something. thanks.

Hi Nize!
My recollection is that the Clydesdale was a shi**hole 20 yrs ago, if its the same place I'm thinking of. So unless they've rebuilt it.... but for $50/night I doubt it. As it happens, I will be passing thru that area this afternoon and will confirm for you later today.

Maybe give Travis (944S2NUT) a call and ask him. I think his cell # is in the first post.

Good move! Upon further inspection, I stand by my original description. Just be aware that the Sheraton is a 20-25 minute drive from the Safeway in Cloverdale.

Yea, it was the closest hotel I could find with good parking. A bit better than the 1hr+ drive from downtown vancouver hehe.

just got back from a quick 3 day trip to Kelowna and back via Princeton - the roads were amazingly good condition considering the rains and some road washouts - long streches of 80-90 mph and then 100+ on the way back late this afternoon. Light traffic before we hit Hope and Hwy1. We should be in great shape for early Saturday AM, and weather looks good for Fri/Sat

Was in Kelowna for our anniversary, and vineyard / winery tours - highly recommended BTW (at least the tours!). The black 951 - highly modded 89 - belongs to IanM - he'll be there on Sat, sans car tho, as it is getting front suspension upgrades. Send me PM with your email and I can send the photo to you. Look at some of the galleries under my signature and you'll find pics of Ian's car. Same with Rich Sandors galleries at http://gallery.rennlist.com/gallery/albuo57
