Default Disappointed in Berlin (NOT PA!)

I have been in Berlin (Germany) for three days now and have spotted exactly three Porsches....one bright green Targa (looked like a 1980 SC) one Boxster and one new 911....lots of Audis, BMW, Mercedes....and even many more Alphas than Porsches...what gives? Not a single 924/944/968....

I always found Porsches to be sort of rare in Europe. The high cost and high tax rate on powerful cars hurts them. Of course if you are in or around Zuffenhausen/Sindlefingen things are a bit different...

I spend about 3 to 5 months a year in Germany, and rarely see porsches.

Have you seen the price of gas there yet? There's a real good reason why there aren't that many on the road at the moment

I'll second the trip to Munich. Not only Porsches, but plenty of other exotics to drool over there too! I only saw one decrepid 944 in Berlin.

Euro trip update - have seen more Porsches (4) in my first day in Poland than totatl time in Berlin.....saw three Boxsters and a new 911....still no 924/944 sighted anywhere on the continent...ah well...they als have LOTS of crapr FIAT 650's here ....way tiny and underpowered....and the ever popular Trabant.....will it ever die?
