Default Who has the most 944's on the LIST

Ok guys... I have been seeing alot of "I got another 944" posts lately.

So I have a simple question. Who has the most 944's
Few "rules"
- All 924/931/924S/944/951/968 CHASSIS count.
- Note family (father, son, brother, wife etc) only count if you live under the same roof (No my brother 5 states away has two)
- Cars must be currently owned for Personal use (no dealer's or junkyards)
- Cars may be kept in any location (your place, friends house, parents, storage lot)

So how many running? How many non running chassis.
Lets see I'll start

4 running cars

1) 88 Turbo S,
2) 84 944
3) 83 944
4) 84 Race car

2 Parts cars
1) 87 924S (almost stripped of all parts),
2) 88 924S just started stripping

Total = 6...

Well here is my running totals

1) Legoland951 - 11 cars (4running/7non-running)
2T) M758 - 6 cars (4 running/2non-running)
2T) nine-44 - 6 cars
4T) josephsc - 4 cars
4T) Mike Buck - 4 cars
6T) Luis de Prat -3 cars
6T) ERAU-944 - 3 cars
8) Darth Coupe - 2 cars

I feel bad that I can't remember his Rennlist name but there is a guy here in SoCal that has more than 6. Well, at least he did about a year ago when I bought a Turbo rear valence from him. I think he had 8 or 9 of them...honest. And he lived in a condo!

He'll probably post a response to this thread as soon as he checks in today.

Easy. Legoland951 probably has more to his name than any other lister.

Don't quite understand the "game rules," though, as I have 3 cars in my name yet they're in different locations and not always used by me.

Don't worry they all count since they are in your name!

I hit 3 last night -- it'd be 4 if I include mf GF's car (and we live together). All running.

Dan, I think I know the guy you're thinking of -- but he's non-lister. There's a guy in Santa Monica who had 6, but has been selling a couple of them. He lives in an apartment and leaves the car in various garages and plays the street cleaning shuffle every week.

This is what I have right now. Dan, it was me you bought the valence from. Since then, I sold the red 85.5 n/a, the 86 951, the 88 951, and the 84 red n/a because my ex gf sat in them before.

Currently, I have a running 83 944 n/a red, 84 944 n/a white, 84 944 n/a white future spec car, and 89 951s. Not running, 83 944 n/a silver (in pieces in the back of my 86 toyota van), 3x 86 951 (dissembled in the garage mostly gone with lots of parts in other rennlister's cars), 87 951 white engine burn (sitting on my trailer behind the truck), 86 944 n/a gold (in pieces in the garage with the block residing in Danno's car), 87 924s red engine burn. I am sure there are lots more that came and went but its all I can think of off the top of my head. Its a sickness. Cost lots of time every week to move them twice a week for street cleaning and a ton in registration every year, but I love to see a whole row of 944s parked on the street

Hmm let me count Lego...

Currnet running = 4
1) 83 944,
2) 84 944,
3) 84 944 spec car to be,
4) 89 951

Not running = 7
1) 83 944
2) 87 951
3) 86 944
4) 87 924S
I think I messed up the count..
+ 3 86 951 parts chassis

Grand total = 11

We have a new leader!

BTW... When are planning on spec racing? Do you have a number on my driver listing?

Josephsc, I think the guy in Santa Monica is Nurnur and he is the one who bought the red 85.5 n/a from me. He started getting into 944s because I infected him with the "sickness". When it comes to my neighbors, I pay close to $2k in registration and car tax every year to make sure I can legally park my cars on any public roads whether they like it or not Also, I much rather have a row of Porsches parked on my street than junker hyundai and yugos.

I'm on well on my way doing the same -- I only have one carport. Thankfully, my neighborhood doesn't do street cleaning.
