Default Help! A rat got into my '83 944. What components are these?

After a few weeks away I went into my car and saw rat droppings and a hole in my shifter boot.

I finally got the rat and started inspecting the damage. I was hoping someone could help me ID these components.

I'm certain the connector here is from the car, but I'm not sure *which* connector it is. I haven't spent enough time working on these cars to know off the top of my head.

I'm not certain if this "hose" or rubber... disk... thing even belong to the car though. Does anyone have any ideas?

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks!

Here are the photos.
Edit: Can't upload photos for some reason. Here's an imgur link.

Edit 2: Seems like nothing works today so here's a reddit post.

Edit 3: Unfortunately I don't believe this will be very useful, but...

The connector and rubber disk came from the passenger floor board, and the hose from the engine compartment where it had made a nest behind the driver's side headlight.

Hmm. Wish I could help but without some context or knowing where the parts came from I've got nothing.

Well, the cable is probably a ground wire because its brown, and the white striping will give you a clue if you search for it in the electric diagram.

Possibly overflow hose for coolant tank. If your car does not have an alarm, there is a section of brown/white wire from the passenger door switch to a one pin connector, likely heading toward the center console where the alarm module would be. I would find it hard to believe that a rat could disconnect the connector if you do have an alarm though.
