I'm not kidding either. I could not belive he bought an H2, I've never liked them. Then this past winter we went for a drive on Lake Winnebago (largest inland lake in the US) Snow was past the bottom of the doors. His H2 had no problem going around in the stuff.

Yukon with a body kit? No way - None of the other "stock" SUV's could follow in the tracks of his H2 that day. There were no H1's there.

Granted you could add these mods to any Yukon, but that would raise the price (Yukon + mods) over a stock H2.

Yukon's also cannot climb an 18" wall (H1's can do like 33" or something) the approach/depart angles on the H2 are better than any other GM Vehicle using that chassis.

"As long as it is legal to buy these vehicles, you have no right to tell me or anybody else what they can drive and how much gas they can use."

Actually, unless the US is very different from Canada when it comes to rights... you DO have the right to tell somebody not do do something. It's MAKING them do it which you do not (under most normal circumstances) have the right to do.

They have a right to voice their opinion, that's it, not force that opinion on anybody.

I also have the right to buy any "legal vehicle" that I choose.

But of course you have the right to buy any legal vehicle you choose. I did not suggest otherwise.

As for "forcing" an opinion. Well, it depends on what you mean by forcing. I wouldn't call a web page like this forcing an opinion. However, actions promoted by a website, such as defacing SUVs (or whatever) could be crossing the line. Not so much because of the opinions, but rather in that it would be encouraging/inciting illegal acts.

Let's see how far off-topic we can get this thread.

I'll start:

I like toast!

You can burn it, just don't tell me that you don't like mine because it has butter.

Last night's dream consisted mainly of attempts to escape an exit-blocked military hospital full of zombies. I forced myself awake when I was faced with a charming blonde little girl in full curls and Alice-in-Wonderland garb, munching on her own ripped-from-the-shoulder arm and smiling at me with bloody teeth.
And as I sprang up in bed, successfully nightmare-free, I remember wondering aloud "Do we have any Cheetos?"

What do you mean "again"

When is 944fest again? The 928 should be running by Saturday......

I said INLAND lake, not just lake. The Great Lake's are not considered Inland (100% surrounded by land)
