i am throwing this out kind of early, as i am not sure of anything. but i know the scout isnt going to be a job anyone is going to want to do. it is probably better for a local too. however if no one volunteers i would be able to do it. i am good with maps and even better at spotting out cops. i will be taking my Audi if i go. i will know for sure if i am going within a week. one thing though, i would NEED a ride in a very fast 951 to make up for the cruise i would be missing

lol..... the roads are fine, you guys are paranoid... just dont hug the sides like we had some punks do on the taj cruise... that made for some interesting evasive manuevers.

Cory I will also make note on my map, I am going to make on what roads have more gravel on on the sides and also I am going to make notes of more dangerous spots!

I can't attend, but for those of you traveling from central NJ, Manhattan, etc, you can stop at this place www.fireworks.com/showroom.asp?lid=49 and get fireworks. This is brand new, and ez on and off from RT78. It's in the Allentown area.

Speaking of which... I have a "drive in..." story that will make most cry. BUT, I will refrain from it, in fear of rejection, until I take pictures of said car on Monday when I get back to work with the camera hehehehe

Dan, I'm not sure exactly what is left to help out with, but if there's anything I could do, I'd be happy to help! Did you say snacks were taken care of as well??

I can bring some PA speakers... They are monitors, but I could turn them on their sides and they would work fine. I can only get the head to output in mono though, so if someone else brings an amp we can use my speakers.

Jaib, if nobody else (local) wants to scout, you've got the job!! Thanks!
Fishey, what have you got for audio gear? We've got guys here offering speakers and amps. I don't want to quake the county but good sound all around the yard/barn would be nice. What do we need to make that work? I was considering awarding the DJ position to the Rennlister present who has the most posts.. (they obviously have a lot to say and aren't afraid of saying it) Any objections if they want the job? I'm guessing the PC/MP3 wired to an amp would be the best setup until the instruments come out.

I'm a post *****. just say it. SAY IT!
I'd be happy to play DJ if that's you hinting..
It's no problem for me to get to Fishey's Friday nite for a little setup and sound test.
I'll load up the PC I built for Andy with 10 Gb of MP3's or so that I have. It shall become the official MP3 player of the Fest. Andy can just bring it home with him on Sunday.
If you have a CD burner and if would like to bring some of your own music it can be in MP3 format, that way we can get 130 tunes or so on each CDR.
I have ..uh.. "eclectic" taste in music.
It better be near the beer.

I have a 1000 what system with 4 10" woofer (not subs) and 2 61/2 mids and 1" tweeters... They sound good and if turned up you can hear it for about 5 miles.. I can connect my computer/volvo4lifes and get our 50gigs of MP3s a good workout..
