Good job!
What was the FTD? Were the 'vette boys running pretty fast? It looked like the course would really favor them.

well, the whole set up was alittle funky. We only got 3 official timed runs. The x class was the biggest class, with a beemer, two 44's, jeff's 924s, two hondus, a camaro...cant remember the rest. There were three runs and then two "fun runs" were i guess you could get ur time but not official. They didnt tell you your times, but you saw them on a screen as you pulled off the track, so anyone in the stands was clueless.

The track was set up really fast for the vettes, and i almost lost it acouple of times going faster than i should around the corners, but still doing better than most the vettes were around them. We didnt stick around to find out ftd or class winners, i know that the little hondu civic that was highly moded had a 48.4 to my 48.5, so if he was fastest in x class, i was prob second. The vette guys said they wanted to make it a fast day so they could go on their annual picnic or something??? I did manage to scare the shi# out of andy and his girlfriend on the two funrun ridealongs though.

Sounds like a fun day up there. I absolutely loved running with the BCC and so did the wife as she is really warming up to autoxing with the Boxster as it is running much faster than the 951 at the autox's. She even got Women's FTD with competition!! And she was only 4 seconds off my time! I gotta get my **** in gear! Though, to my defense, I have finally got some tire pressure numbers for this set up after not having driven the car more than a total of 10 days this year. I had massive oversteer problems early in the day that was hard to recover from. Though 2 more pounds of air in the rears and I was set with a really great handling car. Now I just need to learn to trust this one like I did the Prelude and I will be set.

Yeah, I had no problem seeing my times and everyone elses. I could look over the shoulder at the computer screen, just not being bothersome, and just look at the pages whenever they switched pages. The guys were pretty nice about it, just so long as you didnt interfier with them taking their times.

I saw your rustang guy there too, what a beast. Didn't get the times for him as I was not going after his times, just trying to stay close to the P-times. I was having an aweful go at it in the morning, though once the pressures neutraled the car, it was much more fun. There was a dreatful Peterson Box near the end that was just a Polyethelene paint-stop, though they said that it wont be there next time.

It was a great event, good friends in the BCC and from the OVR were there. Nice and laid back, and Christine's entry was only $5! Dave Raum was going pretty hard for FTD and just missed it on his last run lending FTD to the silver miata. He coned in the Peterson Box at the end of the last run, though that run was sweet looking.
