The local Corvette club is putting on an auto-X at Kil Kare in Xenia this sunday. They are known for making fast, fun tracks with a lot of runs (6-8 minumum). The event is on the oval. Here is a map for getting to Kil Kare:

Since it is a Vette event, that means all non-vettes will be lumped together in "X-Class", so that means all of us Porsche guys will be going up against each other.

Is there another local event somewhere? British car club maybe?

Lizzie is Christine's Boxster's name. I prefer to think of Meguier already 18....but I digress.....
And the other event, maybe there is another BCC event...... I must confirm.

There is a BCC event on Sunday!

Decisions, Decisions. I really like the laid back atmosphere they had at the last event.
Oh, I ordered my RA-1s (225's) from the Wheel Source, they were only $162 each. Good deal. But they won't be in before this weekend .

Glad to see you got somewhat reasonable prices on the tires. Was there a PCA discount? I might go Toyo's when the tires that came on the rims expire, but I might go back to Kuhmo again.
Well, I guess we all know where I am going. I would say all of us rennlisters are welcome from talking with the Pres., but they like to keep their events low key, probably would be best to keep it within our circle of friends.

I may just drive down to the British event instead. I have to think about this. It's further away, but fun. If I can put up with the 2 hour drivers meeting that the guy gives. I owe that damn 5.0 a buttkicking. One thing I don't like about the BCC event is the fact that they won't give out or post times. How do you know how you stand against others? That's just dumb.
XSBoost, which way are you swinging?

They didnt give out any times last time at all? How do you know how you ran or if what you did out there this run actually worked or not? Hmmm, might have to petition to get some times. If not, I will bring my stop watch, maybe we can get someone to take some independent times that will not be exact, but give us a rough idea until they give out the official times.

I got beat somehow at the last event by a 5.0 mustang that from what I could see never got a clean run in and was fishtailing all over the place. I really would liked to have seen his time.
