never hurts to ask for $18k..... whether a seller gets it or not is another story. i wonder if these cars will ever go up in value regardless of the number of remaining driveable cars still on the market (i missed the last excellence issue that had the numbers).

Nonetheless, cheeseball rear wing, tacky dealer badge (a crime IMO), and the ever present cheap look of the reflector-light-euro-license-plate-cover. Yes, I have seen this one before.
87 951 (the link above in the parent post is no good)

This car has been on autotrader for a while, and the price keeps coming down, so just because i'm currious I called out to get the scoop on the car.
The guy tried all the sales techniques out there that I have been subjected to over my life in just one short phone call. My favorite was the Create a sence of urgency technique he implored by telling me he had someone in there that day who was thinking of putting an offer down, so if I commited on the phone with out seeing the car he would reserve it for me.... lol. Right like i'm going to fall for that.
I asked about the mechanical history, the responce was "Our mechanic drove the car and said it was fine and no warning lights came on" but they have no books and records.
Lastly I would to say that the PO of this particular 951 choose quite poorly in his (or her) modification choices.......

C'mon now Ian, what are you talking about? You just know everyone on Rennlist is dying to have a 951 with a wing like that and the tail light reflectant panel.
