Replaced Outer Sunroof Seal
It was short by exactly 3 inches. I had to cut a 3 inch piece of my old one to make up the diff until I get another sent to me.
The sunroof also doesn't fit as well now. It does not sit flush like it used to. Maybe after time it will come down a bit.
Anyone have similar problem?

Yup---sounds like wrong seal as Sam pointed out.
Is it a "Gen-you-wine" Porsche oem seal from the dealer?
Did mine last summer with dealer seal. Trimmed about 1 to 2 extra inches OFF the new one when installing which is why your prolly got wrong seal.
Let new seal sit on roof in in car a few days before moving. In sun is even better.
May need to adjust s/r retrator arms to get new seal to sit flush.
Hope this helps.

I had to cut a few inches off my seal when I replaced it last year. Still doesn't sit as flush as the old one though!
And cutting that thing was a bit@h!

Mine was too long for the sunroof and I had to cut about an inch off it. It didn't sit flush (and also started leaking bad after a year) till I put manual latches on the sunroof.
