I am planninga major work session in the driveway for the 27th .......

Koni's to go on the '89 along with a new waterpump, front seals, belts, rollers, etc..... and then there is always the nostart problem with the '84. BBQ and beverages provided. I live about 1 hour south of Sacramento, just off 99.

1. Airport Cinema Parking Lot, Santa Rosa, CA (1 mile before Sonoma County Airport)
409 Aviation Blvd., Santa Rosa, CA

Directions:
- 101 North through Santa Rosa, take Airport Blvd Exit, offramp back over 101,
turn right at first lights (at Carl's Junior) and parking lot is on right side.


MEET AT 8:45 AM, LEAVE AT 9:00. WE WILL WAIT UNTIL 9:15 FOR LATE-COMERS.

2. Calistoga, CA. Lincoln Ave (Hwy 29, main street)

Those of us meeting in Santa Rosa will arrive at Calistoga at 9:30 AM (latest 10 AM).

North on Hwy 128 through Alexander Valley Vineyards
To Geyserville

Distance Check: 24 miles

Go under 101, Canyon Road to Dry Creek Road
To Lake Sonoma Dam - stop for regroup and photos

Distance Check: 29 miles

Proceed out Skagg's Spring Road (highlight of trip) to Stewart's Point on Hwy 1
Stop in Stewart's Point for regroup

Distance Check: 63 miles

South on 1 to Bodega Bay
- plan to stop at coastal park for lunch stop. Many photo ops

Distance Check: 100 miles

Bodega Bay back to 101 in Santa Rosa or Petaluma:

Distance Check: 127 miles

Back Home:

Petaluma to San Francisco: 39 miles
Petaluma to Sacramento: 88 miles

Recomend bringing hand held radio (FRS /GRMS Radio ie. Motorola Talkabout 2way) It helps to keep track of the group and allows for road condition notification (Breaker Breaker 19 we got a Smokey on our back door)

For those of us in the valley wanting to drive over together we are meeting at the Bakers Square restrurant parking lot in West Sac at 7am. It's on the SW corner of Bus. 80 (not I-80)and Harbor Blvd. It's approx. 1.5 miles west of the I-5/Bus. 80 interchange. We will have to leave by no later than 7:15 so we don't hold up Brad's group in Calistoga, theyre meeting us in Calistoga at 9:30.
So far for sure we have me, Serge, Chris, and probably David. Haven't heard from Darius so I assume he has made other plans to get there if he's going. We'll be taking a nice curvy route through Lake Berryessa to avoid the Nascar mullets going to Infineon Raceway that morning. My home phone is 916 685-7409 if you need to bail at the last minute.
