So Serge, have you put in for the time off? I must be getting old but you never dropped from my rear view mirror on our last run. I'm glad this one's in Brad's court..I can just drive and not be responsible for anything! I still have to adjust the Koni's to a more tolerable level...Sonoma Co. roads are not that forgiving. Want to caravan over there? Let me know, we can meet in West Sac. or something about 7 am or so. Where's David and Chris, I hope they can make it as well as Darius (Asleep at the Wheel)...sorry Darius I couldn't help myself.

I hardly pushed my car on the straights (damn misaligned balance shafts kept me from going over 4k too often). I didnt brake very much for the turns though. Gotta love those bald good years, they did well!

I cant say for myself, but i have talked to your wife, and she says youre not the same man as you were 2 years ago So..maybe! Jk, no hard feelings.

Anyways, yes, ill be sure to take the time off work, and hope to caravan over to the bay. Let me know the details once you have everything worked out.

Thanks.

Guys, great that you can come. It'll be great. 2Tight, maybe we can help you clean the bugs off your car before we start out. Wouldn't want you to have a handicap !!

I'll solidify the details of the route in the next day or so, and publish a confirmed attendee list.

Oh, for lunch stops, there are several. We will be passing through several quaint little towns with groceries where sandwiches can be picked up. Bodega Bay is a great spot, as are any of the state parks on the coast. Maybe Goat Rock park - Serge can get his feet wet their too !!

Note, it is June and that's when the coastal fog starts to hang on the coast a little longer. Hopefully it will have burned off and went back to sea by the time we get there. Bring a jacket just in case. Big difference between Northern and Southern Cal !

Plus, the cooler our porsches runs, the better.

Brad,
We live in the Valley, fog is good, 10 years in a top down Miata and I felt like beef jerky. Serge, thanks a lot, see if you get a free sandwich this trip!

Hi everyone,

Man, sorry I'm getting in on this so late. I'm pretty sure I don't have anything going on, so count me in as well. 2Tight, Serge, I'd love to join your caravan. Sounds fun. I'll keep watching this thread for updates. Can't wait!

So guys, we're on for the ride on Saturday, June 26th.

I need to get an idea of who to expect. Let's try to get a final tally shall we ?

Here's the current state of affairs:

Serge944 - Confirmed
Darius Juca - Confirmed
2Tight - Confirmed
ibdavid - "definite probably" (confirmed?)
Revvin_911S - Confirmed
CR - Confirmed
brad-cam - Confirmed

red9four4 - Maybe
DanD - Maybe

That's 7 confirmed so far. Any more takers ???

Exact route will be nailed by tomorrow, hopefully tonight if I don't fall asleep at the keyboard.

Meeting at 9:00 AM, depart by 9:30 AM (I'll post my cell phone number to announce if you'll be late).

Here's the current idea:

We'll probably meet up North, somewhere between Petaluma and Geyserville. A little wine country twisties, then Skagg's Springs road (sweet !) to the coast, down the coast to Bodega Bay. Those that want to get home can bail over to 101 and head home. Or continue down through Marin.

We'll stop for lunch at an ocean side park (bring a jacket). Lot's of places t pick up a sandwich or bring yer own food.

Stay tuned....
