Who's going and which events?
I'll be at the pre-party Friday, the drive and concours on Saturday, and the autocross and the museum tour on Sunday.
It's going to be a fun weekend!

Friday is a *maybe* for me. I am waiting on some parts that won't arrive until friday in order to make the car drivable for the weekend. That means I may be underneath of it that nite. Keep your fingers crossed for me.

Saturday I will be at the Driving Tour, as lead car of the second run group (which you should be in I believe). I will be at the Concourse Event afterwards, hoping for a shady spot far away from your car .

Sunday I will be at the auto-cross with my newly-finished white phonedials.

The weather looks to be excellent for Friday and Saturday. Sunday looks rainy. Should be a fun, slippy auto-x!

I will be there Saturday for the cruise and concourse and Sunday for the autox, though I will be in the wife's Boxster as my car awaits a new clutch kit from AZ.

You will be in group 2 as well. I'll give you a radio and position you in the middle of the group. Hopefully Erin will be with you because you will need a navigator. You'll need to be the glue in the middle and give me a shout should something go awry. Bring an Ohio atlas if you have one.........

Which group is Cartson running? I made a request to stick in that group to make sure I knew someone in one of them.

Carston is in charge of group 3. It's the slower cars. (ie: there is a 57 beetle with 30hp and a VW bus in that group.) You'll probably be in group 2. Group 2 is the "average" cars, while group one is the GT3's and 996TT's, etc.

tifo, lemme guess, im in gruppe one? either way ill be pushing all 1720cc's on saturday. at least i wont be toping her out to keep up like i did at 944 fest. this time i can make the 30hp bug top out to keep up with me

I have one of those 40 channel CB/PA system things in my car. Is that the radio thing you guys are going to use?

Education has enabled many of us to pay for the hobbies that we enjoy. Sorry to hear it isn't working out for you.

No, we are talking small portable two-way radios, not CB's. Although, a CB may work if it can get on the same band as the units we have. An experienced HAM operator may be able to answer that one.

Hope you can make it up to view the Concourse. If you haven't registered to be in any of the events yet, I think it is too late to participate in them. But you are certainly welcome to come view the cars Saturday afternoon and purchase a raffle ticket for the VW New Beetle Cabriolet that is being raffled off.
