Thanks for the heads up Jeremy.

Yeah, kinda' sucks that we can't pick who to cruise with, but it looks like it may help the logistics of keeping people from losing the group. Oh well, just may make some new friends (yes, the glass is half full ).

Sorry guys, I had no hand on picking the groups. With the large # of cars, they wanted to break it up into 3 groups of around 25 each based on engine size (basically HP). It looks like there was not an even enought distribution of entries to make it a perfect dissection. Sorry!

Its ok Jeremy, Im sure no blame is coming your way. I just hope to find some friendly people in the high HP group and that there are not too many P-car snobs in there. Like Wade said, may have to make a few friends. Though, this Saturday will play a key role in my decision to go next year.

GG on the groups can I get my money back? because lets put it this way! I came to drive with my friends and it seems that none of us are in the same group. i signed up under the impression that this would be identical to last year, atleast some notifcation would have been a bit more say, professional ?

Will they have any problems with me showing up for the orange group? in my 944 to take the place of my 993? Since it seems most S2's are in that class anyways I don't think it should be a problem.

they split the run groups up due to the clutter of having 80 cars at a time last year, if no one likes it, i guess they dont need to go. Im just happy to be out there w/ that many porsches.

If you feel that strongly about it, then email John. The reason for the splitting up of groups, was the fact that 75-80 cars in a line barrelling thru the countryside could be construed as a bad thing.

If you are in going to be in the Orange group (depending on what John says), keep in mind that the group before us will have already tainted the locals (even if they obey the speed limits, a line of 25 high perfomance cars in an area that does not see that much traffic in an entire day), so we will have to be on our best behavior.

... the point is i can go out and do the cruise route right now by myself.. for free, i want to drive with friends...... this isn't an endurance fest or a competition its for fun, and i plan on having fun either way

i dont see how there will be a problem with me taking place of my 993 in orange group, it will even open up a spot for someone who perhaps was late to enter... i'll see you all at the pre cruise/party friday night

I understand that. Please get the change cleared thru John before Saturday, or during registration at White Allen on Saturday morning. Thanks.

How do you really feel, Harry?

Seriously, that does suck. I know what it's like depending on suppliers. I get screwed over by them at work every day.
