IceShark's Light Cannons (pics)

Guys,
I too have had Iceshark's light and battery kits for a while now. All I can say is that if you haven't bought these yet....WHAT ARE YOU WAITING FOR?????
This should be at the top of everyone's upgrade list. Not just for the lighting performance enhancement, but the safety it provides.
All bow to the Iceshark!! [We're not worthy! We're not worthy!]

For guys that don't know much about these search a little or talk to Dan (IceShark) he is a great guy. I have had the headlight upgrade kit for only a few months and i'm loving it. It's money spent towards safety as i see it...
BTW Nice comparison pics!

MTM-
Looks awesome...I haven't seen too many HID setups that can best that.
How long did the install take you?
Also, are you guys running 90/100 or 55/100?
Thanks,
Max

Don,
It took me a couple of hours to install the headlight kit. Biggest problem was getting the cable situated right and drilling holes for to mount the relays. Its really easy.
The original sealed beam halogen lights were hopeless. I installed H4s and they were an improvement, but still wimpy. I was planning installing relays and powering the heeadlights from the battery when I read about IceShark's kit.
I figured he had all the stuff worked out, so I ordered one. When I got the kit, I could not believe the quality. Much, much better than I could have done. I don't even know where to look for the some of the parts he has in the kit. They are definitely not from Radio Shack. Huge cables, good connectors, relays in rubber cases.
The difference in the amount of light is amazing as the pictures show. Even with the 55/60w H4s there is a marked improvement. This kit really brings the 944 lighting up to date.

MTM, wow, what a remarkable improvement! I have intended to upgrade my stock lamps for a while now. Hopefully, this will be the push that I needed!
Dave120, nice S2! I like the modifications you have made to it! Do you know what number of 449 yours is? Mine is #272.

Sorry, I dont have any pictures of the kit before installing it, but I can assure you that it's very high quality. All of the wiring is covered with fiberglass insulation (which can get kinda itchy after enough handling). It also comes with very detailed instructions.
I got the 90/100 watt bulbs, and the installation took a good part of one weekend, but then again it also took me a whole weekend just to replace my rear rotors and pads. The whole kit costs about $370, which is probably a lot less than it would cost for HID headlights.
BTW, my S2 is #137 of the 449 imported to the US in 1990.

The kit is of incredibly quality. I really wish i kept the kit i had instead of selling it. Just a combonation of my empty wallet and the likley chance i was getting a different car made me sell it. Ill defenetley be re-buying the entire setup for a future 944.

I also want to know how much for these kits!!! Hmmm, so if I decide to get a Corrado instead of another 944 can I get a kit for the Corrado too??? Seriously, the Corrado's lighting also sucks!!! I would be the first to market this mod to CCA and CCC, and all of the other Corrado Clubs!!!
