Poll on Westcoast Group name!
Okay, after spending the week sick as a dog (thank you, roommate's girlfriend), here it is.
I am counting the saying as secondary, so that will have to be added later - but I have that pretty much figured out...I will announce it at the end of the Poll, which ends in 3 days.
It was a hard call, lots of goodies!
Now I have taken a few ideas, and replaced SoCal with Westcoast, but it still counts as that person's idea.
Just FYI: If you want to really have fun, either catch the flu or get smashed, and say:
"RennWest Wrenchers" 3 times fast! Am I the only one that gets, "wennwest wenchers!?"

Thank you, Jabba!
BTW - you don't have to be on the Westcoast for the T-shirts! I'm doing my best on prices. It's the XXL and sizes like that which are causing me trouble. I'll just have to hunt myself tomorrow.

One I just came up with is:
Renncoast Wrenchers.
No room on Poll if you like it, it could work for all 3 coasts.
No room to add to Poll, so put in body of text, if you like it.

Steve,
Westcoast Wrenchers does sound good but geographically it doesn't work. I doubt if anyone from NorCal or Seattle will be making it to many headgasket parties in Pasadena and vice-versa. If Julie hadn't of picked up the flu she wouldn't have had any problem saying RennWest Wrenchers...I'm hurt, all I wanted was a T-shirt. Can you say "Hooked on Phonics?"

Well, actually I meant "Westcoast Watercoolers - No Drips Allowed". Sort of a pun. Get it.
Anyway, I was just picking one of the options.
I understand the not so sublte alliteration. OTOH, RennCoast Wrenchers could be either coast or the gulf coast for that matter.
Like I said, I shouldn't have a vote. I've been there 3 times total, and don't really have any reason to return.
Hope you get the t-shirt.

Wennrest wenchers? Sorry, just isn't flowing off the tongue either with or without a fever!
But I did put it on the Poll, and you are getting votes, don't worry.
Anyway, I'm not too concerned if Phoenix or Oregon wants to use the T-shirts. I'd let them, no problem. We don't all have to be together in the same place!

Westcoast Warercoolers sounds good and all but it doesn't allow for wrenching on 911's if you ever do. So Westcoast Wrenchers, thought not quite as drammatic alliteration, it works better.

Yes, that is something I was thinking of...I personally do not mind encompassing as many Porsche people as possible, I just hope that others in the area know how to work on 911s, I haven't the slightest idea...but gimme a garage with a lift, and I'll see what kind of damage er, fun, we can all have!
Oh, just to let you all know, yes, this is the kind of nightmare I deal with alot...coming up with a name to appease people is NOT easy!
Sounds easy, but it isn't.

*Actually, "Renn West Renegades" has the same alliteral problem as "Renn West Wrenchers" if you say it 3 times in a row.
Just doesn't flow. BUT Suncoast Renegades has the hard "S" so it sounds better, followed by the softer "R". Why "Toys R Us" sounds good, begins a hard "T"!
