I'm a fixture there. I've made it the last 3 years and love to again, But I'm kinda committed to Taj Kreuzers the same weekend in Dayton this year. 
I liked the Tweeksfest move to June from July until this year.
It keeps getting bigger and better.

i'm leaving fri noon, should be there early eve, we (a group of 6)
are staying at the hampton, look for an 89 guards red s2 with chrome turbo twists, an 80 924 guards red, and an 89ish i think 911, all with wisconsin plates.... wanted to go last year, but my golden retriever broke a bone in her right rear leg, OUCH! had to nurse her back to health,
it was worth it, she's as good as new and i'm finally going to funfest!!

Ill be heading down south as well...if anyone is comin in thru downtown chicago...please call em so we can convoy down there...its a little over a 2 hour drive calculating porsche cruisin speed of 115mph...i was thinking of being there at noon...773.616.9560

chitown - I think I am going to go. I REALLY need to work on the 951 this weekend though. Will be a toss up. Depends. At any rate, let me know if you want to get together some time.

I'm hoping to be there on Saturday and Sunday. I have already made hotel reservations for Fri. and Sat. nights. The only thing is that I'm in the middle of negotiations for another Porsche ( 
) , and it will depend on how they go. I will probably be coming in the S2, with the main reason being this: I tend to want to go way too fast in the Turbo S! In the S2, I tend to be a little closer to the actual posted speed limits. Also, I'm considering going to the 944fest this year, and will want to take the Turbo S to it. I wish everyone a safe and enjoyable drive to Funfest.
