Default Worn out 951 engine?

Does anyone have one? I'm going to rebuild mine and was thinking of rebuilding a worn out one while still driving my car, then doing an engine swap and selling my old one. Anybody able to help out?

If you happen to get one and need some parts that cross over to an NA engine - let me know and I'll be glad to help you out.

Thanx, but doesn't anyone have a worn out 951 engine?

You'll probably want to have a look at the bore before making an offer on any motor.

I've got an engine out of my '86 that I was planning on selling. My dad and I went back and forth about rebuilding it or selling it. As far as I know it should be a simple rebuild. It needs front and rear seals, an oil pan gasket, and although it does not burn oil, a head job would probably be smart. I pulled it with 186K on it because I found a good deal on a freshly rebuilt engine. I'll probably be taking it to the Tweeks Funfest come early June. If you're interested, and free, stop by and have a look for yourself.
