Default coke, pepsi, liquid wrench, pb blaster

whats best to use for EXTREMELY stubborn rusted bolts? i need to get my exhaust off. i already sprayed wd40 on, but so far, it isnt working for me. also, are there supposed to be gaskets inbetween all the flanges in the exhaust? i dont think mine are there, i have some exhaust leaks, and didnt look like any were there the last time i worked on it.

I'm partial to PB. Look on the side, its claim to fame is the melting cups!

Best Wishes,
Sach

PB works pretty good, give that a try. Karl Wilen was telling me about some stuff he used when he lived "up nort, ya" that he said blew away anything else he'd ever seen, maybe he will chime in on it.

Regards,

PB Blaster is great, let it soak overnight if you can then hit with an impact wrench if you have one. If you don't have an impact take a smaller socket than the nut and give the nut a few good hard taps first to break up any residual grip before using a wrench. If all else fails try the "Blue Wrench" and buy new SS hardware for next time. Good Luck

I've had good luck with Kroil, which comes in a squeeze can, like Liquid Wrench. For a spray, like WD40, use AeroKroil. It can be hard to find though... Machine shops, tools stores maybe. I bought a can at a gun shop awhile back (cleans barrels out very well, and then use some JB paste on a patch).

I usually reach for the mapgas torch when working on exhaust. Just be careful about fuel lines!

PB worked for me.

And, yes, there is supposed to be gaskets between the flanges.

I use AeroKroil. I like it better than PB, but the only way I could find to buy it is direct from Kano's website.
