Tampa Bay area meet

Tampa Bay area meet: June 6th
Hey guys. I'm new so if I sound like an idiot, i apologize. I'm Seb928s's girlfriend, the one he posts stuff about hehe. I've become obsessed with Porsche lately and really want a 944 or a 951. All of that being said, my job is to let you guys know about the next meet that Seb is having. It'll be on June 6th. This time, since Fort Desoto was too crowded, we decided to have this one at War Veterans Memorial Park, aka Bay Pines park. We will already be there so just keep driving till you see us, you wont be able to miss us cuz there's only one road through the whole park so ya cant get lost. We'll give more info bout how to get to the place if you dont know where it is and whatever else you need to know. And everybody pitch in with food and drinks and all that junk.

Good deal! Jess, if it's your job to get out this information then it seems only fair that it's seb's job to get you a 944. Sound's reasonable to me.

I'll be there on time this time. That is a great park for it too. Very nice, shaded and on the water.
Theres a 86 - 951 in the paper right now with a bad tranny but the owner states 3K firm price. It also says "needs TLC" --- yikes. Maybe seb will do the tranny job for you

I'm playing around with that idea of the 951 fixing it up. Hope to see you guys out there it's going to be a blast once again. We always have lots of talking going on with stories and what not. It's up to her she wants an Z3 and 944/951 basically it would be a graduation gift from her parents next year. I told her I'll do the work on any of the cars so labor isn't an issues. I think her parents would get her a Z3 before an 944 car because it's newer with less problems overall. Well there's something to talk about already at the next meet. I'm going to try to get Dave and Jason to come down for it. I'll have the directions up sooner or later. If anyone is skilled enough to make a map and post it you are welcome to.

I'll be there (w/dog)!
Last meet, I scrounged about 37 hot dogs off SEB928S
and felt bad about it. Jessie appreciated the leftovers.
I will provide all food and drinks for the next meet if
someone else will take care of the charcoal (I think grills
are available at the park IIRC)

Nope. I complete my assignment in Newport 18 June, then drive direct to Tampa. My family arrives there about 1 June. The Porsche is already there.
Confused? Me too.

I love it here ....that said....you are coming in hell month.
All us local run from air conditioner to air conditioner june july and august.
I try to fight it each year but you just have to get used to sweating all day long.
The reward though is about 250 beautiful days a year, half of those being perfect.

I think we will be OK, the house is air conditioned, of course, and there is a pool. So I think we can beat the heat, and it can't possibly be much worse than Southeast Texas.
