Default Mr. Clean car cleaner actually works

Hey guys, I got the Mr. Clean car wash system for my birthday and used it for the first time yesterday. It actually worked, I didn't have to dry the car at all. It did take a few hours for the water to disappear, but it wasn't that warm out. And, I used up almost all the starter soap in one shot. And my car is black too, no spots. I was skeptical, even kept all the packaging ready to take advantage of the money-back guarantee! I'll be paying for the damn filters and soap for the trouble, but my weekly car wash ritual just got shorter and easier. Now the wife is probably gonna make me wash hers too.....

Same thing for me, but it only took maybe 20 minutes to dry and it was cloudy out. Do you happen to know how much replacement filters and soaps cost? I used my whole bottle too. Guess we'll have to figure out a method to be more conservative with it.

The filters and soap replacements are like $7 at Autozone...will probably get pricey over time...I haven't tried it myself yet, but my cousin bought it so I'm gonna see how it works before I spend the money on it, but I have heard good things.

The key is to wash normally, and use it for a quick final rinse.

I bought just the soap--washed using a bucket and mit (the regular method). I was all excited to see how it did (I used it on my Honda to test it out).

Anyway, washed the car, hosed it off with a regular hose (no expensive filters or applicator sprayer)...and it started RAINING! So, I have no idea if it worked or not!

Why use the filter and sprayer??

This isn't always the case but normally spots are caused by elements and impurities in the water. Where I lived a few years ago, if I didn't get my car dry within a few minutes, the spots were impossible to get out. I actually tried to rig up my own water filter system for my hose, didn't work quite right since I could not get the correct size filters for inline filter holders.
Anybody with hard water should benefit from any type of filter system.

I just took mine back, the stupid thing looked worse than if I just washed my car normally and let it sit. It looked like soap scum. I tried it twice, then said to hell with it, thank God Wal Mart takes anything back. I really wanted it to work too, maybe I got a bad one? And no, I didn't wash it in the sun, and I pulled the car into the garage to let it dry.

The SUPER SOAKER HYDROBLADE is a dual action blaster for serious soakage! Play Offense by pumping your blaster up to full pressure and pressing the trigger to blast out powerful soaking streams of water, or switch to Defense and bring out the HYDROBLADE by pressing down the dual action button for total soakage in every direction imaginable!
